Mailbox: Logic Puzzle - Final Exam

Alf, Bert, Charlie, Duggie and Erine are making predictions about the order in which they will be placed for the coming final exam. They speak as follows:

Alf: "Bert will be two places higher than Charlie.”

Bert: "I will be third.”

Charlie: "Duggie will be first.”

Duggie: "Bert will be second.”

Erine: "Charlie will be three places lower than Alf.”

It was interesting to see after the exam was over, that of these predictions only one was right and that was made by the person who was first.
